Across Crew Pairing and Rostering

ACROSS - Crew Pairing and Rostering
Most people will agree that crew pairing and rostering is the central part of the planning process in every airline.

ACROSS (Airline CRew Operations Scheduling System) was designed for creation, maintenance, analysis, and review of crew schedules. As an integral part of Caspis Airline Suite it enables the users from various departments to share the view on the planned crew schedules and offers several possibilities to use these data in other applications.

Our solution takes advantage of the state-of-the-art multidocument windows technology that offers simple and intuitive access to most complete information.

Several graphical views can be opened and updated simultaneously bringing a synchronized overview of the current situation, including:
  • Daily Plan view,
  • Flight Orders view,
  • Resources view,
  • Standby view,
  • Calendar view,
  • Statistical Tables view,
  • Error Checking view,
  • Reports view,
  • Print Preview
The Daily plan view displays the last flight plan for a selected fleet. Besides, in certain phases of planning the user is allowed to modify it directly.

Crew pairings can be performed by a simple drag & drop operation of selected flight groups into the Orders view.

A separate tool - AIRPAIR Automatic Crew Planning generator is available when the fleet is too large to perform operations manually. Beside crew pairing and rostering it automatically generates standby duties and allocates required off-days.

All crew members and their history are displayed in the Resources view. Various groups of crew members can be grouped together into separate tab windows.

The planner can compare the duties of selected members in the Statistical tables view.

The Standby view displays information on reserve crew members.

All views can be easily navigated and synhronized using the Calendar view.
